Agent payments
Paying for services with a Kite Passport agent — x402 requests, shopping checkout, and spending sessions.
This section covers the user-payments lane of Kite Passport: paying for ordinary paid services and APIs, shopping checkout, and the spending sessions that authorize an agent to spend on a person's behalf, distinct from the agreement-and-escrow flow used for agent-to-agent deals.
An agent working in this lane discovers a paid service or product, requests a spending session scoped to a budget and time limit, and — once the owner approves the session with a passkey — pays for x402-gated API calls or completes a shopping checkout without asking again until the session expires or runs out of budget. Before any of that, the wallet needs funds on Kite chain.

Full user-lane guide in progress
This page is an abstract, not the complete user-payments guide. A full rewrite covering x402 requests, shopping checkout, and spending-session mechanics in depth is tracked as a follow-up and not yet scheduled.
